The Current Slow-Motion

At times life seems to pass one by in slow-motion, carefully making sure that no opportunity passes one by. This is of course a highly desireable state of thing – that they pass by slowly enough for each opportunity to be exploited to the fullest. Of course, this only accounts to people whose lives actually exist. As of late, my life has been going nowhere because all the strings I pull are too far-reaching to have any immediate effect.

I have made up my mind to become the person I aspire to be, and therefore, I shrug to the fact of my life’s static progress and instead try to make the most of each uneventful occassion. Like now – I am going to sit in bed (though the hour already is too late) and read a novel, accompanied by nothing but a cup of tea and the approaching dawn.
